Korsbrødregården in Nyborg
Unlike many other Danish market towns in the Middle Ages, Nyborg never had a monastery. However, the town did have a Korsbrødregård, which was a branch of the Knights Hospitaller's monastery in Antvorskov. A few brothers of the Order of St. John lived in the house, but as far as is known, no actual monastic life was practiced, and there was no church. Nevertheless, it was an important house for the order.
