Filskov Station - Authentic station close to Billund

The Filskov Station building is a small architectural gem from 1917, designed by DSB’s chief architect Heinrich Wenck. It was inaugurated with the opening of the Diagonal Railway between Bramming and Silkeborg, where passenger services ceased in 1971 and freight in 1977. Although privately owned today, its well-preserved exterior can still be admired. The railway line is now a popular walking and cycling path known as Den Skæve Bane.
